Terms of Service

By placing an order on mailnox.co.nz, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Product Description
    Mailnox is a wireless lock system designed for rural delivery mailboxes. Each unit includes a master key for the postal service and 3 unique smart key cards for the customer. While the system is designed to deter theft, Mailnox does not guarantee absolute security and is not liable for theft or damage to mail or property.

  2. Warranty
    All Mailnox products come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects. This does not include consumables such as batteries. Battery lifespan will vary with use and is considered routine maintenance, not a warranty-covered issue.

  3. Replacement Cards
    If you lose your smart key card, a replacement can be issued for $15 NZD per card. These will be shipped to an alternative address provided by the customer.

  4. Installation

    All Mailnox units are pre-assembled before delivery, including lock installation. It is the customer’s responsibility to securely fix the mailbox to a suitable post using the instructions provided.

    Mailnox does not currently offer on-site installation. Please ensure your mounting location is stable, safe, and compliant with NZ Post rural delivery guidelines.

  5. Pricing and Payment
    Prices are in NZD and include GST. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Full payment is required at the time of order.

  6. Order Fulfillment and Lead Time
    Due to current demand and production scheduling, orders may take up to 6 weeks to fulfill. This includes pre-orders. Estimated dispatch windows are provided at checkout or in your confirmation email.

  7. Refunds and Mailbox Suitability
    If your existing mailbox is deemed unsuitable for Mailnox installation, we may offer a refund or give you the option to purchase a compatible Mailnox unit at an additional cost.

  8. Intellectual Property

    Mailnox is patent pending, and all designs, lock mechanisms, and branding are the intellectual property of Parcel Link Limited. Unauthorized duplication, resale, or reproduction of Mailnox systems or components is strictly prohibited.

    Installation by the customer is permitted using the provided instructions. However, modifying the lock system beyond its intended use may void your warranty.
